Old Sturbridge Village – Sturbridge, Massachusetts

I was thinking the other day, why do I like Old Sturbridge Village SO MUCH?

Authenticity. That’s what I like most.

The people at Old Sturbridge Village have done everything within their power to make the village feel as authentic as possible. Truly.

We go as often as possible and EVERY TIME I discover something new.

Here’s a tippy tip: make sure you check out the buildings to see if an actor is inside (they might be!)

They are still currently running horse drawn carriage rides (just be aware that they are currently blocking out every other bench for social distancing, so you might have to wait for your turn to ride)

QUICK TIPS:

Stroller Friendly: 5/5

Food: 5/5 and currently there A LOT of picnic tables set up outside the cafeteria type restaurant (check website to confirm they are open), the food is really very good!

Comfortable coming by myself: 5/5 I would absolutely feel comfortable coming here alone with Akaash

Parking: 5/5, Huge parking lot (free) right outside the entrance to the museum

Bathrooms: 5/5
