Lupa Zoo – Ludlow, Massachusetts

When I first went to the Lupa Zoo around 3 years ago, I couldn’t believe I hadn’t been before. I thought it was more of a “backyard zoo.” And while the Zoo is on the smaller size, it’s still a great size for an outing. I went twice again this fall before they closed for the winter and I can’t wait to be back when they open back up again this year.

We’ve come both on a weekday and weekend and have found no trouble finding parking.

When you enter, you realize there’s a lot to see! The zoo is nice and flat, which is great for easily pushing around our stroller. There are also benches available for anyone in your party who needs to take rests along the way.

Honestly, I’m so glad this little zoo is so close to the house, it’s so nice to have one more thing to do during the week.
