Tower Hill Botanical Garden – Boylston, Massachusetts

Even in winter, this place is beautiful.

I found about this place from one of my friends who had posted on Instagram about a holiday lights event at Tower Hill and I realized if she hadn’t posted about this place, it probably would have taken me a lot longer to realize it existed and I’m so glad I know this place exists! It’s amazing! I definitely want to try to get tickets for the holiday lights event for 2021.

A quick 1 hour drive from the house, we can easily meet our friends from Boston “half way” here for a great outing.

We’ve been here twice already in the past month or so and I expect we’ll be back within the next few weeks as they are currently selling tickets through the end o February!

The Conservatory is open, and is a great place to warm up from the outdoor elements. Also the plants inside the conservatory are beautiful too!

The trails are plentiful in the woods around the Botanic Gardens, they are mostly flat, which was great for my toddler for running around also!

Stroller Friendly: 5/5 I would suggest bringing your most durable stroller. The trails in the woods are not paved. Some of the trails (especially now in Winter) can be muddy/slippery. We didn’t have a problem with our Bugaboo Frog, but I would call Tower Hill in advance if you are concerned about using your stroller.

Food: as of the date of this post, the cafe is open Friday/Saturday/Sunday from 11-3 and I thought the food was REALLY good. There’s even a patio with tables/chairs set up.

Bathrooms: 5/5 There’s even a lactation pod outside the women’s room! Yes!

Comfortable coming by myself: 5/5 I would absolutely feel okay coming here alone with Akaash

Parking: Large parking lot (free) right next to the entrance to the museum

Museum store: 5/5 I bought my mug!
