VISITED STONE ZOO OCTOBER 2020
The Stoneham Zoo is a fantastic place for an outing.
Just as a heads up, as of the time of our visit, we did need to buy our tickets in advance, so please do check the website before your visit.
We arrived at the Stoneham Zoo on a Saturday and had no problem finding parking right outside the entrance to the Zoo.
Once inside, we started to do the one way loop around the zoo. We stopped at some benches inside the Zoo to eat our packed lunch and take a quick break. I was glad we had stopped here to eat lunch because when we got to the cafe area, all the picnic tables were full!
It was a beautiful warm October day and it was so nice to be outside with friends.
This facility is really great, LOTS of animals to see!
As a quick confession, this is the ONLY picture I took of Akaash with the Zoo Animals! We literally were having so much fun I didn’t take my phone out at all to take photos!
As a side note, we have come here in the past for their winter experience called Zoo Lights and I would highly recommend that event also. It’s really beautiful to see the Zoo lit up by lights at night!
QUICK TIPS:
Safety: 5/5, I would feel perfectly safe coming with here by myself with Akaash
Stroller Friendly: 5/5
Food: Check the Stoneham Zoo for food options. We brought our own packed lunch.
Parking: Very large free parking lot right next to the Zoo entrance
